The Journey

30 Years ago, Winsom Winsom and Marlene (surname) were told by an Ojibwe medicine man that they would be moving to Belize to do spiritual work with people from all over the world. This information was puzzling to say the least. At that time no country “Belize” even existed on the map as it was still “British Honduras” and would remain so until its independence in 1981.

Again in 1998 Winsom was told through a series of dreams that it was time to move out of North America and into the mountains to do spiritual work with people of all races.

The final message was given to Winsom by her mother on the night of her death. In a dream she was shown the exact property they are presently on.

5 years later, with much hard work, blood, sweat, tears, prayers, and guidance from the African and Mayan ancestors, Ocean Spirit Fire Temple emerged.

Ocean Spirit Fire Temple is a spiritual sanctuary nestled in the lush jungle mountains of Cristo Rey, Cayo District, Belize. The location of Ocean Spirit Fire Temple was chosen in part for the powerful energy that vibrates throughout the area. Cristo Rey is surrounded by many pyramids of the Mayan dynasty in Belize, including Caracol, Cahal Pech and Xunantunich.

Winsom Winsom Omiala is the resident spiritual care-taker of Ocean Spirit Fire Temple.
